Increased sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Greater insight on how to strengthen and support the pastors and missionaries we serve.
How many of us ever really volunteer for change? When we have something figured out and working well, few of us would ever be waving our hands, jumping up and down saying, “choose me.”
Unfortunately, sometimes we are asked or told we need to make a change. When something is working well, why change?
In God’s kingdom we always need to be open to change. We are discovering that change can bring transformation; staying the same can cause stagnation. We decided a long time ago that we wanted to accomplish all God intended for us to be and do. Therefore, we are open to change.
At the beginning of 2020 we will have a new assignment. We will be serving as Emissaries to Europe, the Caribbean, and the U.S. Foursquare Churches as well as continuing to recruit and help train coaches for missionaries who, like us, are raising support for their living and travel expense. This new assignment presents us with the opportunity to discover different ways to connect with pastors and missionaries for the purpose of encouraging and supporting them.
This past month we had an opportunity to reconnect with some wonderful pastor friends that we have known for some time. During October we will be traveling through the New England states seeing pastors we know and making new acquaintances. And, George will be going to a mission conference in Montana as well as the Caribbean Regional Gathering in Miami.
Finally! Thank you for your financial and prayer support, and most of all, for believing in us. Please keep us in your prayers as we continue our journey.
